I bought this watch based on other reviews and I am happy with my purchase. My more expensive sport watch broke and I wanted a watch I could wear for tennis and casual but did not want to spend alot of money. The watch is very attractive and I get many compliments on it. It is working great and while it is not as heavy duty as the more expensive timex it is still a very sturdy watch and wearable for sport activities. I also bought the same watch in white with mauve trim and it is working great too.

I had a devil of a time setting it when I played with it in the store. Turned out that it left the factory in T2 mode for a 2nd time zone, and I could only set it in half hour increments.
Hit the mode button until the date shows on the top line of the display instead of "T2", and then set it just like my other digital watches.
There were other Timex midsized that I liked the styling or color choice better, but they didn't show the date on the main display like the T5G series does. I almost bought this watch with the white band, but decided it would not stay white for long with its intended usage.
Gave it to a 16 year old for a casual/outdoor/sports watch, and she seemed quite happy with it.
If it had all the functions of my 25 year old Triathlon, I would have given it 5 stars.

I needed a watch that I could use while traveling and doing outdoor activities. This watch more than fit the bill. It's very comfortable, easy to read and the instructions were easy to follow. My DH liked it so much that he's asked for the men's version for his birthday. For the price you can't beat this watch. Excellent value for an excellent watch.

so the watch is just like it looks. its lightweight and looks good. i really like the timer function as opposed to just a stop watch function. the buttons are a little hard to press and the timer function i mentioned earlier is difficult to use. not very hard to set it or start it but difficult to clear it and start again. i dont put the watch underwater much but it withstands day to day tasks like dishes or hand washing with no problem.

This watch is attractive and well made at an excellent price point. I found it identical in function to other Timex models that cost twice the price. This watch has the following modes: time 1, time 2, alarm, stopwatch, and timer, all with indiglo option. The watch also notes the day and date. I found the watch very easy to set and operate, and recommend it to anyone.
