 "Very nice looking watch" 2009-08-22
By Marek W. Majka
Very nice looking watch. Little disappointed when I got it because it stopped working and it didn't keep the time but since I changed the battery it works fine.

The bracelet was over sized but after adjusting it, it looks very nice.

not a bad bargain for the price.

"It's ok for the price in discount" 2009-08-21
By Christian Arenas (Colombia)
I wouldn't definitely buy it at it's original price, but at discount is a good cost/benefit option. It has a good size, japanese movement, day and date indicators. However, I would consider getting a better Invicta watch (mineral dial window, swiss movement, chronograpgh) for around $120, they usually have big discounts.

"Think twice about Invicta products!" 2009-08-11
By D. R. Greenlee (Jupiter, FL)
I had no illusions about getting a watch really worth the alleged $475 pricetag for $60. However, it looked a little nicer than a Timex, so I thought it was worth a try. The fundamental problem is that it arrived with a metallic band about three links too big for my wrist, and probably too big for 99+% of the human population. I've had this problem before and always found it quite easy to remove a couple links with nothing more sophisticated than a pocket knife, or even a paper clip. However, the Invicta comes with absolutely no instructions about how to adjust the band, and apparently needs some sort of titanium-strength tool just to remove the pins. Following a web search, I discovered that Invicta was willing to adjust the band for only $10, plus another $25 for "shipping". (Interesting that they want you to believe that they can fit a watch band by mail without ever seeing the related wrist.) Apparently there is also a do-it-yourself repair/adjustment kit available for about the same price, but related reviews of that product were no more encouraging. And why should I have to spend 50+% of the purchase price to get something to work properly fresh out of the box?

I've ordered dozens of items from Amazon over the years, and this is the first "zonk". Now I get to figure out whether it's less nuisance/expense to return it to Amazon, or pay a local jeweler to do a professional adjustment to a brand new $60 watch.

UPDATE: Amazon's response to my initial complaint was immediate and very professional. "Take the watch to a local shop, have the band adjusted and send us the bill." I was unable to test their fulfillment of this promise as the shop declined any payment. So, four stars to Amazon for customer service, but their product description should warn all customers of this problem. Invicta still gets only two stars: the watch is attractive and now functional, but the product can't be used right out of the box by most people.

 "Incredible Invicta!!" 2009-08-11
By WKT (Knoxville, TN United States)

I still can't believe this watch is under $60. The watch is large, but not too large. Love the day-date layout. Seems very well made/good materials. It feels substantial--and defiantly looks much more expensive than it is. People don't believe me when I tell them what I paid for it so I've stopped telling people...just say $600. I highly recommend this watch without any hesitation.

 "Deal?" 2009-08-07
By Jeffrey Adams (Phoenix, AZ)
I did NOT buy this watch for the simple reason I noted the extremely high "retail" pricing and the alleged "deal" being offered. First, this watch sells nowhere... I emphasize NOWHERE ... for $400+ This watch does sell in a hundred different outlets all over the internet for about $60. So, what's the deal? It's a con. There is no deal. Just lots of hype and BS. I gave it a 2 star because others said it works... lol.
