If you like a fairly large face watch, this is the watch for you. I love the face, it is easy to read and has a very nice finish on it. When my boyfriend put the watch on, the face was raised off his arm quite severely due to the thickness of the watchband underneath the watch face. When we bought a new watchband, we couldn't find one that didn't make a 'clicking' noise (since it is not a standard size band) every time it moved. You probably have to spend quite a bit on a watchband, if you want it to fit properly.
If the person you were buying it for likes more of an 'armband' style watch or maybe a younger adult who wants something they can wear while running, the watchband will work great.

Thought this would be a high quality due to the name, not the case within a week dropped off desk, cracked glass, and the following week fell off chair (18 in.) and cracked other side. Then to repair it needs to be sent off with a ten dollar fee. Should have bought a timex.

Just what I needed. I owned another Victorinox watch years ago that gave me many years of faithful service. So I expect the same from this one. Much nicer watch than what I could find locally at the same price. I have no problem with the band. It's comfortable on my wrist. But will probably replace it sometime in the future - it soaks up sweat fairly quickly. Though it easily washes out. Couldn't be happier with the price.

This just shows you what good branding and adherence to quality can do. Swiss Army personifies the word good. I would give this watch 5 stars if it had included the day with the date, but at this price (and quality) I am being a little pickey. It looks great, doesn't mind water and a little abuse. Second hand does not align with second markers. Recently received, it keeps seemingly good time. Poor band ..... end of strap delaminated in one day!
