"Best watch I ever had" 2009-09-02
By W. DEMEDIO (Oz)
I bought my first one in 1987.It cost 28 bucks and was made in Japan. Lasted 10 years til the battery died. Still use the OEM band as it is stainless. Since 1987 have used two including the one I'm wearing. The new models are made in Korea and have plastic bands which I always replace with the original. The electronics, battery, and quality of the Korean watches equal or exceed their Japanese predecessors. They cost less only because of the cheap plastic band. If you get one, replace the band with a better one. The watch itself is worth every bit of 19 bucks.

"I really enjoy this watch!" 2009-08-26
By J. Taylor (Indiana)
I highly recommend this watch, it's durable and reliable. I also like to use the calculator when I need to. I agree with the viewers, the watch band is cheap, so I replaced it with a flexon band. Out of every watch company out there, Casio is by far my favorite watch brand.

 "Lasts forever" 2009-03-21
By Mr Clean
I have bought three of these in the last 20+ years. The band wears out first. I replace that a couple of times then the case where the band connects to it wears out, but the watches continue to run. The numbers are small, but the calculator works great, too. For the price, one of the best buys I ever made.

 "RETROOOOOOOOO!" 2009-02-12
By Jansen Granflor (hollywood, CA)
$15 shipped for a piece of jewelry that screams retro 80's! how can u say no? not to mention, if you work with numbers, like me, you will always have a calculator on you no matter where you go (even in the water as its water resistant!). i am having trouble finding a cheap white or gold variation of it, but the black one is perfect for day to day or active use. pick one up today!

"Great watch, one setback... " 2009-01-05
By Kaan Erermis (Richmond, VA)
I bought this watch from WalMart for $21 with tax. If I had known the watch didn't have a back light I probably wouldn't have bought it. But now that I've worn it for over a month I can honestly say that there's no regrets on this end. I don't even use the back light too much but when you DO need it the watch is rendered useless in poorly lit areas such as when you're watching a movie at the theater. Other than that the timekeeping is AMAZING after a month or so the watch was only 2 seconds off atomic time, even though the specifications say its +/- 15 secs per month. Another thing I like about this watch is the calculator. Originally I had bought this watch for it's "nerd" factor but I'm actually surprised at how much I use the calculator on a daily basis. It's a great watch and I just bought the DB30 so I can have the light too.

Bottom line: Great watch, great time-keeping, calculator function is nice and easy to use, "nerd" factor is awesome :-).

Cons: No backlight
