This is a great watch, for the price. I received everything that it promised ( nothing more, nothing less).

I purchased this watch simply based upon the reviews and price. It is not what I was expecting based upon the other reviews.
First off, this watch will not be mistaken for a "valuable" timepiece. I paid $10 and that is exactly what it is, a $10 watch.
Second, the resin band is absolutely terrible. It is uncomfortable and makes my wrist extremely sweaty. It does not, however, pinch hair like my metal bracelet watches. I am going to replace this band with a black Timex Expedition band, which is a cloth fastwrap style and has proven to be the ultimate in watch comfort (I prefer the lack of shape and structure the cloth band allows for, or the rigidity of a bracelet.)
The fit and finish of the watch are on par for Casio. Resin case, standard white face, black hands, black numerals. Easy to read even in low light (no backlighting or glow paint.)

Plastic-y feel (Think "Made in China" and although most products are, this has that particularly light and chintzy feel to it)
Resin band/case (The lugs for the band on this can break off)
Overall:
A decent buy for $10 with free shipping. If you like resin bands you will find this watch decent. Otherwise, another $10 on a decent band and this watch will be acceptable for daily wear, although it will probably end up in the drawer while a $50 Fossil Chronograph rides upon my wrist (which is a better investment for my needs.)

I bought this watch a few weeks ago. It is a very simple and fuctional watch. If you are looking for something more stylish, this is not the best option for you. But if you are looking for a trustable and simple watch, then it is a great option, specially for the price.

I love it! I had ~5 watches in my life. Primary reason is for surfing. I need to know when it's time to go to work, or when the parking meter will expire. This is the cheapest watch I ever owned, and also the best (ironic!). "water resist" isn't very clear... but I been surfing with it and no problems yet (couple weeks now). Originally I thought I needed 200m rating (30,50,100m are all inadequate) for surfing (water sports) based on my research on water resistance ratings. But that is FALSE!!! This watch works in the water (ocean!). The watch is light (not cumbersome) and the large face and numbers make it easy to tell the time (without squinting or looking closely). Has no light, but I don't need it. The white face makes for plenty visibility. I am so glad I didn't waste another $60 on another G-shock watch... $8.50 for this watch. Also another great thing: only 1 button. I hate many buttons (confusing/complicated watches). Also, no Alarm or StopWatch/Timer modes... just one mode: it tells me the time!!! I love it. Simplicity at its finest. Last thing: its quite slim, and light. The size/weight is perfect, in my opinion. Very un-obtrusive.
