Keep time with military precision while adding a unique edge to your wardrobe with the Citizen Eco-Drive Men's Chronograph Canvas Watch. Featuring the clean look and the rugged dependability of a stainless steel case and bezel, this timepiece relies on the unique Citizen Eco-Drive movement system, so you never need to replace its battery. Eco-Drive is an advanced, technical system that uses a thin solar panel under the dial to convert light energy from any source into electrical energy used to run your watch. Also playing a key role in this unique system is a special energy storage cell that greatly increases the efficiency and dependability of using light as a power source. As an added benefit, Eco-Drive power doesn't utilize the harmful chemicals contained in traditional batteries, so it's an excellent environmental choice as well.

The watch features a black dial with easy-to-read Arabic numerals in white, a convenient date window at four o'clock, a slim second tracker on the outer dial, and three subdials that provide chronograph functionality along with the ability to track hours on a 24-hour scale. The dial is further offset with luminescent minute and hour hands and a sweeping red seconds hand. Even the cool canvas band on this watch offers ultra-detailed construction. In addition to featuring a sturdy buckle clasp that relies on steel-reinforced eyelets, the band is backed with leather, which provides added durability and results in a pleasant feel against your wrist. This versatile men's watch is water resistant to 330 feet.

*Charging information: Functions of this watch may not work correctly if the watch is not charged, or charged properly. Please see the full Technical Information.

To set the time *(refer to full-setting instructions here: Manual ):
  1. Pull the crown out to the time correction position when the second hand has reached the 0 seconds position.
  2. Turn the crown to set the time. The 24-hour hand moves in conjunction with the hour hand. Pay attention to AM and PM when setting the time.
  3. Securely return the crown to the normal position in synchronization with a telephone or other time service.

To set the date:
  1. Pull the crown out to the date correction position.
  2. Turn the crown to the right to set the date. The crown turns freely and the date does not change if the crown is turned to the left.
  3. If the date is set while the time on the watch is between the hours of about 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, the date may not change on the following day. If this happens, set the date after temporarily moving the hands to a time other than between the above times.

Using the Chronograph*:

The chronograph function of this watch is able to measure and display elasped time up to 59 minutes, 59 seconds in 1 second units. After 60 minutes have elasped, each of the chronograph hands automatically stop at the 12:00 position.

    Chronograph Timing:
  1. Start timing by pressing button (A). The chronograph is repeatedly started and stopped by pressing button (A).
  2. Pressing button (B) resets the chronograph to 0 seconds.
*Note: Do not subject the chronograph to strong impacts while chronograph timing is in progress. Subjecting the watch to a strong impact during chronograph timing or when the chronograph has stopped automatically after 60 minutes have elasped can cause the chronograph minute hand to shift out of position. If this happens, press button (B) to reset to the 12:00 position before using the chronograph again.

"Fantastic watch, few missing factors" 2009-08-23
By Mike T. (Philadelphia)
This is a fantastic watch that has not missed a beat so far (3 weeks, and it is still second-to-second with the NIST clock). It took a day or two to get it running and not end up skipping two seconds at a time (the low battery feature), but after that it has not gone into low-battery mode again. It is a beautiful casual watch, and like other users say, you can change the band to a leather or metal one to make it look more dressy.

Here are my complaints, which render this watch a 4-star:

1.No alarm: This could have easily been programmed into the watch to make the 24-hour circle have a dual function

2.Very small chronograph minute marker, and only 60 minute limit

3.Glow in the dark lasts about 10-20 minutes

4.Many people had complaints about the canvas watch band, and I thought it was ugly at first but now have grown used to it and rather like it. The holes are very far apart and some may have the problem where one hole is too large and the next is too small. At first I thought I had this problem, but I got used to the larger setting and now it seems to fit perfectly.

I don't regret getting this watch at all but it would be perfect with these few additions (indeed, Citizen's higher end models solve all of these problems).

 "Well worth the price" 2009-08-23
By Robert L. White (Oregon)
I have always wanted a Citizen Eco Drive Chronograph. This watch is well worth the price. Although there are some minor issues, it is still a very accurate and durable time piece. I found it odd that the timer is only good for one hour. However, at just over $100, I still consider it a fantastic bargain.

 "Time" 2009-08-16
By K. R. Miller (Coastal, Texas)
The product was shipped in a timely manner and received in good condition. It has also surpassed all expectations of use thus far. I would order from this seller again without any hesitation. The only con to the watch is that the reset for the stop watch portion is easily hit by simple movement of the hand. Other then that it is a great watch and I look forward to buying the watch.

"Great Watch, just what I expected" 2009-08-16
By R.C.
Received this watch couple of days ago. Was choosing between this one and the cheaper $81.00 one. I am glad that I got this one.

Pros:

- Good quality

- Accurate timing

- Leather backed Strap not too big nor to small for me (i have a small wrist)

- Retro, military look

Cons:

- Case a little thick, but not too bad at all

- Wish that it had an alarm function, but oh well

Over all, this is a great everyday watch, i love it!!

 "This watch is thick!" 2009-07-30
By J. Won
First off, the AT0200-05E has a beautiful face. There's a reason why I purchased it. But remember to look at the measurements for the thickness of the watch before you make your purchase. It is 11mm and it is BIG. Moving from a 5mm thick Skagen watch to this, you can really notice the difference. It's equal to 0.433", so get a ruler and measure it on your wrist first before taking the plunge. It's almost embarrassingly thick. How can a modern day watch be so thick? I've seen other Eco-Drive watches that are way thinner than this. Maybe that's why this watch is only $129. I'm on the verge of returning it because of this.
