I've heard my running friends rave about Timex watches for sometime, so I was eager to try one after my Nike watch broke down recently. (Apropos of nothing: Nike charges almost as much to change the battery on their watches as Timex does for this watch. Highway robbery!) I can't say anything negative about the watch itself: the features are easy to use and actually quite intuitive. I've used the alarm, the multiple time zone setting, the intervals, and several other features already, all without looking at the instruction manual. I should probably break out the instruction manual, though, as I'm having trouble with setting the watch: the "set" button appears to only go backwards, meaning that if your watch says it's 7:28 and you want it to say 7:30, you have to click around 58 times to get the time you want. (Or, I could be missing something obvious.)
The problem I have with this watch, though, is the color. I bought the pink because it was the same watch as the grey, but cheaper. And it was a mistake. I wear this watch not only for running but also for every day, and not a day goes by that I don't look down at my watch and which I'd gotten something more practical. It's not a glaring or obnoxious pink (in fact, it's exactly as pictured), but it just doesn't go with much of anything.

I needed an interval timer for my marathon training, which my previous sports watch didn't have. This watch works great and was the right price. It has the aforementioned interval timer, a regular stopwatch, big time display and date display. It's a nice size for my small-ish wrists (though there's plenty of room in the band for larger wrists too). The only small thing I'm not used to is that the start and stop buttons are different. Occasionally I've accidentally pressed the start button again when I meant to stop it, which is the lap counter. It didn't take too long to break that habit though, and overall I've been very happy with the watch.

I purchased this watch b/c it was a great color and I liked the way the split band looked less "clunky". I got much more than that for a good price. The face is easy to read and easy to set. I don't swim with it on b/c of warnings (that came with the watch) that the color will fade on the band, makes sense to me. I have a small wrist and there are plenty of notches to make it small enough to fit. Very lightweight and comfortable. Good watch for a great price!

Adequate. An acquaintance owns this same watch - it was badly faded and worn after a year. It's cheap, adequate, don't expect it to last super-long.

I bought this watch to time my runs and I love it. The control buttons are large making them easy to use. I do not have to fumble around trying to set it like I have with other watches. I can start and stop the watch without having to stop running. Plus you cannot beat the price!
