This watch may not be the prettiest, but it has a very well thought out, sensible (practical for day to day use) interface.
The features that make it stand out (at least to me) :
a) The 24hr Countdown timer is within one click (I have it set for 1/2 hour naps and use it daily)
b) The 24hr Stopwatch is within two clicks. This is the most frequently used feature and I am glad it is so high up in the menu; from timing a workout, a run, to cooking ... several times a day I use the stopwatch and it's nice that it takes only two clicks to get to it. Another (rather hidden) feature of the stopwatch is that it can act as a count-up alarm. For example I have it set to beep at the two hour mark telling me its about time to leave the gym ... or you can have it as a repeating alarm throughout the day.
c) There is a shortcut feature for getting back to the time mode. If you navigate to a mode (say countdown) and do anything in it (like starting a countdown), the next mode-click will get you back to the main time screen. You don't have to cycle through all the modes all the time. It doesn't sound much, but this convenience adds up.
d) Pressing the mode button to navigate through the menus makes a beeping sound, and it makes a different beeping sound once you reach the end of the menu and back to the time mode. (You know you got back to the time mode without even looking)
e) The light button is huge and it's at the front of the watch. Very easy to handle (the watch has five buttons overall).
These little, simple, modest, but well thought details may sound trivial, but they add up during heavy daily use. No other Casio model, that I know of, has this particular behavior (they may have more features, but not this menu sequence and behavior). I had to buy two.
You also get an alarm and a dual-time mode. A very simple watch.

I like this watch a lot, but the plastic ears on the case are a little fragile-- about once a year I bang my wrist into something and one of the ears breaks, so the band will no longer stay attached.
I'm now on my third copy of this watch. I'd switch to another model, but I dislike resin bands-- they tend to harden, which is unfortunate.
I wish there was a watch just like this, but with a stronger case.

I found this watch years ago while searching for something my daughter could wear when she worked outside in the rain and snow. She especially likes the function that allows her to illuminate it in order to read it in the dark by just a turn of her wrist (she works outside at her night job). When I found that I could also wear it, though it had a metal back - my nickel allergy requires I wear solid gold watches, which I do not wear outside - I bought one for myself as well. I can wear it non-stop without the usual itching and blistering most metal cases cause on my wrist - no nickel! I accidentally cracked my "crystal" last year, and it still works for me - even outside in the rain & snow, & if I get it wet while washing my hands. My gold watch, however, needed its entire works replaced after only a couple of years (to the tune of over $200). This one's a keeper! For the price, when it stops working, I'll be happy to replace it...I can buy 10 for the cost of repairing my other one just once!

I needed a new watch to wear while exercising and this one fits the bill. Fits comfortably, is easy to read and the buttons work easily. The band is a bit cheap feeling, but then again, what can you expect for this price. Overall I would say it is a good value.

Great while it lasted. I had to replace the watch strap after 1 year. This thing died on me after 3.5 years.
