I got this watch at Walmart Stores at $20 bucks. It was a steal at this price.

Pros

1. Good looking watch.

2. Very light weight, you wont feel that you wearing it.

3. Velcro band is good and durable.

4. The face of the watch clearly shows the time and date.

5. The colors of the face and the strap go well with each other.

6. The night time glow is good and time can be read in absolute darkness as well.

Cons

1. Feels little delicate

Overall, its an excellent watch and a good buy. Thanks Amazon.

 "A great little watch" 2009-08-08
By Tim Martin (South Bend, Indiana United States)
I was searching for a cheap good looking watch for my recent vacation to Montana. I was looking for something that was analog and didn't have the cheap plastic look of most cheap watches. I was also looking for something that would be comfortable in the hot sun of South Dakota and Montana.

This watch worked well on all accounts! It is an attractive watch, the dial is easy to read and the strap does not irritate your wrist in hot sweaty weather. It is not complicated, which for is a plus! Basically there is just one stem to pull out to adjust the time and date. One feature that I really appreciated is the dial light. The button for the dial light is good sized and the light stays on for a few seconds after you press it. This is a great idea!

All in all, if you are looking for an attractive cheap watch, here you go! This watch as now become my standard non-business watch. My daughter is even trying to steal it from me! Enjoy!

 "DESIGN FLAW" 2009-07-16
By Media Enterprises, Inc. (New Mexico)
Like others, the arm that has the pinhole cracked with very gentle wear. From what I can see, it cannot be repaired. So, now the watch still works, but it can't be worn. Since this happened to others, it appears to be a design flaw. Other Casios that I have, have different style arms and appear to be sturdier, and have not broken with the same kind of wear as the Forester.

 "Worth the Price" 2009-06-25

It's a very nice watch that's worth the value. The backlight is sharp and beautiful.

The size is very reasonable, and would be a nice gift for teens or elderly people.

 "Broke after two weeks" 2009-04-22
By J. G. Thoene (Chula Vista, CA United States)
This watch has a weakness you should know about. The arms that have the pin holes that hold the watchband pins in place are made of PLASTIC, not metal. After just two weeks of GENTLE wear, one of these arms cracked off completely. I was just sitting at my desk at work and PLOP! the watch fell completely out of my sleeve and onto my desk.

I don't mean the pin just came out of the hole, I mean the ENTIRE arm which contains the pin hole broke off. Take a close look at those four light brown arms on each side of the leather watchband. Those are plastic--brittle plastic.

Obviously this part of any wristwatch is subject to some stress, and should be made of metal. Not this one.

UPDATE: One week after epoxy gluing the pin hole arm that broke off, I checked the underside of the watch and saw that all four arms had visible cracks. ALL FOUR! This is not just one weak arm folks. This is a design flaw.

I promptly went out and bought a Timex Expedition with metal arms. Total time this watch spent on my wrist--3 weeks.

I have a motto for this watch: "Twenty days for twenty dollars."
